Snail Encounter


Came across this little guy while I was out with dog this morning, so I brought him in for a little “shoot.” He was smaller than the tip of my pinky finger!

I used the macro lens for this, but my metering was off I think. I didn’t quite get the shot I was looking for. Still came out nice.

It’s worth noting that while I was on “sebatical”, my studio (which is just a spare bedroom) was reclaimed by “stuff”, so I had to shoot this on my kitchen table. I guess I should take this fine holiday day off to clean out my studio. ;)
